It happened sometime today at a time that I vaguely remember being painted of a ceramic bear bank.
I officially became 39.
My journey, all 365 days of it, to 40 is “game on”. I find myself recently divorced and then recently remarried (not to the same woman), the father of three children whom live with me, and a soon to be graduate of two Master programs. I am also at the unhealthiest point in my life.
Something needs to change and this will be the day. The one I look back on and envision a scene similar to those great inspirational speeches in movies. This is my moment. My rebirth. My staving off the ill effects of 40 even though I can not stop the movement of time.
Tick. Tock.
That much closer to 40.
So I will run. Eat better. Life weights. Be a better father and husband.
And this will be where I will record it all. Each tick and tock.
